Shipping Commercial Softgel Encapsulation & Tablet Press Machinery from USA to Saudi Arabia & UAE (2026 Guide)

Shipping Commercial Softgel Encapsulation & Tablet Press Machinery from USA to Saudi Arabia & UAE (2026 Guide)

Nutraceutical manufacturing facilities, compounding pharmacies, and private-label vitamin brands across Saudi Arabia (Riyadh pharmaceutical industrial zones, Sudair industrial city) and the United Arab Emirates (Dubai Science Park, Jebel Ali industrial manufacturing) require precision rotary tablet presses and softgel encapsulation machinery.

Industry-standard solid-dose pharmaceutical machinery—including LFA Machines (RT-Series rotary tablet presses, Pro-Series softgel encapsulation machines), CapPlus Technologies, and Vanguard Pharmaceutical Machinery—feature high-tonnage compression turrets, hardened tool-steel punch dies, and stainless steel medicine hoppers. Sourcing directly through premier US pharmaceutical machinery suppliers like LFA Machines USA and CapPlus ensures direct access to turnkey encapsulation lines at major capital cost savings.

1. High-Density Cargo Tier: Solid Cast-Iron Frames & High-Tonnage Turrets

Solid dose tableting machinery pairs heavy cast-iron main frames with solid stainless steel compression turrets and heavy electric reduction gearboxes:

• Consignment Weights: Typically 45 kg to 180 kg for benchtop rotary tablet presses, softgel gelatin cooling drums, and bulk tooling punch sets.
• AQX High-Density Universal Cargo Tier: Consignments weighing 10.0 kg or more qualify automatically for our $8.50 / kg High-Density Universal Cargo tier; spare punch dies, feeder shoes, and scrapers ship at our standard $15.50 / kg rate.
• 0% California Sales Tax Advantage: Sourcing a $16,000 USD LFA rotary tablet press setup through our California export locker saves over $1,500 USD in state sales taxes.

$$\text{Sample Rotary Tablet Press Machinery (65.0 kg)} = 65.0 \times $8.50 = $552.50 \text{ USD}$$ $$\text{Standard Courier Heavy Air Cargo (65.0 kg)} = 65.0 \times $27.50 = $1,787.50 \text{ USD}$$ $$\mathbf{Nutraceutical \ Brand \ Savings: \ Over \ $1,235 \ USD \ (SAR \ 4,630 \ / \ AED \ 4,535)!}$$

2. Punch Turret Mechanical Locking & Food-Grade Tooling Preservation

• Turret Drive Transit Immobilization: Rotary punch turrets receive mechanical locking collars to prevent gear tooth backlash shock during air turbulence.
• Punch Die Anti-Corrosion VCI Packaging: Precision hardened D2/S7 tool-steel punch dies receive food-grade rust preventative oil coats and airtight VCI plastic capsules to eliminate transit oxidation.
• Stainless Hopper & Feeder Shock Shielding: High-polish 316L pharmaceutical hoppers receive contoured EVA foam shielding to prevent denting or scratch damage.
• Transit Velocity: Direct air cargo departures from LAX touch down in Riyadh (RUH), Jeddah (JED), and Dubai (DXB) in 2 to 4 business days.

3. Customs Classification & Pharmaceutical Equipment Clearances

• HS Code Harmonization: Tablet presses and softgel encapsulation machinery clear customs smoothly under HS Code 8479.89 (Machines and mechanical appliances having individual functions) or HS 8474.80 (Machines for agglomerating, shaping, or molding solid mineral fuels, ceramic paste, etc.).
• Automated Clearance: Commercial invoices clearly certify food supplement and nutraceutical solid-dose manufacturing machinery with GMP and CE declarations, ensuring streamlined processing through Saudi ZATCA and Dubai Customs.
